What you will learn in this Advanced Audio Course:
- How to set up and prepare to record a full band:
One of the most critical aspects of the recording process is being prepared. So before you think about getting that first microphone out, know how you want to tackle the entire project from start to finish. Pre-Production is key. - Understanding the process of recording:
Are you recording multi-track style? Starting with the drums and then recording bass? After the bass, you move on to record guitars, keyboards, vocals, and backgrounds. After that, editing everything and then mixing and mastering? Or - Do we just set up the band in the room, place our microphones, and press record? Let the band do what they do LIVE. Either way, we need to know how to get the best sound from either scenario. - You will work on two projects from start to finish:
You will complete two full projects from start to finish while in this advanced program. For the first project, you will work with your mentor. For the second project, your mentor will simply supervise. You will record the entire project on your own. - The upper tiers of the program include 8 Weeks of One-on-One Coaching Sessions with your mentor, In-person or Remote.
One-on-One Coaching with your mentor. Your mentor will coach and guide you along the way to ensure you get the most out of this program.
